Elements Collection
A new collection of watches with pure black, white, and blue enamel dials, with fired enamel markings.
Truly one of a kind.
The Elements
Gold
Uniquely suited to withstand multiple firings to achieve the highest enameling quality.
Enamel
Silica melted into glass, infused with elements such as chromium and cobalt for color.
Fire
This classical element permanently fuses the enamel and gold into one.
Unmatched Enamel Craftsmanship
Enamel fired markings
Unique to Ématelier. All dial markings are achieved via fired enamel, fused into the polished enamel surface at a secret temperature — just high enough to permanently set the enamel without destroying the mirror polish. Stunning detail is achieved, and markings will never fade.
Mirror polish
Before markings are fired, all dials are first polished by hand to achieve a mesmerizing mirror surface.
Gold Plate
Gold is by far the most reliable canvas to receive enamel, especially when multiple firings are required. It reduces risk of rejection from warping, oxidation, and fire scale.
Grand Feu Enamel
Multiple firings of enamel layers, in a kiln at 900°C to achieve an extremely uniform, virtually flawless white, black, or blue surface. The dial will never fade or change color.
Uniquely Complex
The elements behind the collection — enamel, gold, and fire — are predictably unpredictable. Each dial requires multiple firings and vigorous inspections. With each step, only the finest examples proceed and all others are rejected. Only the most skilled enamellers are able to achieve this technical feat. If they do, they are rewarded with a true masterpiece. While the process is unpredictable, the end result — once perfection is achieved — is predictably breathtaking.
Each dial requires multiple firings and attempts, and there are often many rejections along the way. With each step, only the truly flawless dials advance. Only the most skilled enamellers are able to achieve this technical feat and — if they do — they are rewarded with a flawless masterpiece.
